2003 BKC Annual Awards Banquet...

We had a very full house for the awards banquet.  There were 114 paid dinner guests and a total of 120 people in attendance.  Extra tables were set up and soon there was room for all.  There were lots of prizes to drivers and non-drivers alike!  The big winner of the 2002 Top Kart chassis was Darrell Tunnell.

There was one addition to the Track Champion list.  It was decided to have two drivers awarded 1st place in the Formula One Shifter class.  The champs are Tony Sario and Bob Newberry.

Special thanks go to Sheila and Tom Swearengin for all their efforts in acquiring the prize donations.  All the beautiful gift baskets were made by Sheila.  This will be their last year in karts and we will truly miss them.  Good luck on your future racing endeavors!

We would also like to thank our retiring friends, Bobby and Tom Laycook, for providing the decorations and table centerpieces.  What a wonderful job they did of the banquet room!

It was a great time for everyone involved!  Many thanks to all who donated prizes and to those who donated the time and effort to put the whole event on!
